Artlink is looking for entries for their upcoming show, Lots of Little Art. Submission deadline is September 4. The exhibit will run from October 16-December 2, 2009.
All artwork must be original and is to be 6" or smaller in any direction (with frame, no more than 12 inches).

Historic Main Street Art Festival this Saturday
The festival will be accepting artists all the way up through Saturday AM. Artists can register starting at 8 AM at Paula's on Main and still get a spot for the day. Cost is $15 per artist. Oil and Watercolors, Ceramics, Photography, Glass Art, Textiles + more!
Main Street will be closed from approximately the Redwood Inn to Paula's and the event runs from 10AM-5PM- rain or shine. Cooking will be provided by Joseph Decuis and Paula's on Main. A lot of special activities just for the kids and music will be all day- musicians are The J Taylor, Shade Jonze and Cathy Serrano.

Call for Entries for Coloring Books that will be sent to Afghanistan
Alison Mansfield, a recent 8th grade graduate of Summit Middle School in Fort Wayne and founder of Operation U.S. Troop Support, is looking for artists willing to submit images portraying kids at play, to be turned into coloring pages that will be distributed by U.S. troops to Afghan children. She is having all of the paper and printing donated for this project, so she must have images submitted by the middle of July. If you are interested is sharing your artistic skills for this project, please contact FWMoA Outreach Specialist Megan Mirro at 260.422.6467 or mirro@fwmoa.org. Deadline for submission is July 10, 2009.

The Downtown Improvement District of Fort Wayne is looking for artists who create fun, low-cost artwork and merchandise that they would be interested in selling at this years' Buskerfest. Buskerfest is an opportunity for performers and artists to take back the streets for one evening; there will be aerial acrobats, all kinds of live performances, artist booths, and hands-on kids' activities. There will be a $25 down payment for booth space, but will be returned to each artist after the evening is over. This is a great opportunity to sell work as every D.I.D. event gets thousands of people to gather in a manner of hours. Creative Kids Classes June and July at Creative Fish
Keep kids creative and busy this summer at Creative Fish in Downtown Syracuse.
Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thrusdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. We recommend these workshops for students between the age of 6 and 12. Classes are $35.00 and include a healthy snack. Come join the fun! Space is limited. Stop in and pre-pay to secure a spot.

Participants who want to sell (rather than trade) their items should mark each item with a price. Artlink will provide tables and chairs and the venue but participants are responsible for their own transactions. Any items not traded or sold will be the responsibility of the owner; no items are to be left at Artlink.

The deadline to apply to Fort Wayne Arts Festival at Jefferson Pointe is July 1.
Last year's show was a great success for most artists...and hopefully this year will be even better. The show will be held October 3-4, 2009 on the beautiful grounds of Jefferson Pointe.
